Kobrowski Family History

NOTICE: This site is under construction. Please be patient.

This is a collection of information about the survival of the Kobrowski Family during the Holocaust. Their struggle against German Nazi, Army and Police forces as well as their Polish, Lithuanian and White Russian helpers.

It also mentions the few good souls which denied the evil to prevail totally and helped the Jews to survive in these horrible and dangerous conditions. By doing so these helping few endangered their very own life, family and livelihood.

HELP: I am trying to find out where my Grandfather, Abraham Kobrowski came from before he came to Marcinkance/Marcinkonis. I would appreciate any help and advice I can get. Thank you.

NOTE:

These reports are compiled from the Eye Witness reports collected by Leib Koniuchowsky/Leyb Konyukhovsky. His 1900+ page collection of Jewish Life in Lithuania before, during and after WWII and the Holocaust are located in Yad Vashem and a copy of them are in the NYPL Jewish Division. I will scan and add the copy I received from the NYPL very soon.
